After months of looking for the perfect bag and coming up empty-handed, Lissa Myers had an idea -- to design her own. In fact, knowing that other women must share her frustration, Lissa took it a step further and came up with the concept for In the Bag -- a store where women could be in charge of their own purse destiny.

Combining her previous business experience with her life-long love of design and fashion, Lissa put together the plan for a one-of-a-kind store that caters any age or taste. Then, with her own sketches of 22 different clutches and handbags in hand, Lissa headed to New York City to meet with a handbag manufacturer. Within a few short months, Lissa’s new dream of a handbag studio became a reality.
